Talk to Us

We offer help (called advocacy) to young people who are living in care or have recently left care, but we can also help you if you cannot live at home anymore and feel you need extra support and services. There are lots of ways you can get in touch...

We will aim to respond to any text messages, emails and website messages within 24 hours.

Call the Helpline

You can speak to an advocate by calling our Helpline on 0808 800 5792. You can call this number wherever you live in the country. It is open Monday to Friday from 9.30 am - 6.00 pm, with an answer phone at other times that is checked regularly.

Your call will be FREE from any landline or mobile.

Interpreters

We have interpreters available - through Language Line - to allow young people who speak little or no English to access the support of the helpline.

Confidentiality

The information you give us will be treated with the strictest confidence and will not be passed on to others without your agreement (unless you or someone else is in serious danger.) If we do need to pass on any information to other professionals and agencies, we will try to agree this with you first.

If you need to speak to someone urgently and our helpline is not open, you can call Childline at any time on 0800 1111 to speak to a counsellor. Calls are free and confidential.
