Coram Voice wishes to reward and recognise the contributions of staff in an appropriate way. Coram Voice will benchmark all roles with the external market to ensure that salaries are comparable with those offered by similarly sized organisations within the sector. All roles within Coram Voice are mapped to a Pay Scale and progression through the pay scale will relate to the post-holder’s increasing competence in their role
Annual leave entitlement
Full time staff are entitled to 25 days annual leave, plus public holidays. One additional day annual leave is granted for each complete year of service up to the third year, to a maximum of 28 days annual leave plus public holidays. Employees employed on a part-time basis will accrue leave on a pro-rata basis.
Coram Voice offers a defined contribution pension offering matched contributions between 3-5%
Employees Assisted Programme
Coram Voice’s Counselling & Advisory Help-line is there to provide confidential, professional support whenever it is needed to assist employees to tackle any problems they are experiencing. Whether the problem is a personal one such as a relationship difficulty or bereavement, a practical one such as a neighbour dispute or a debt problem, or a work-related one such as performance or a communication issue, the Help-line can offer free and confidential support. Under the service, staff can access 24 hour, freephone, telephone counselling, advice and support and telephone guidance on practical issues such as personal legal problems, financial difficulties and consumer rights.
Season Ticket Loan
An interest free season ticket loan is available to all staff to purchase season tickets for the journey between home and work.
Cycle to Work Scheme
Staff can access tax and national insurance free bicycles.
Learning and Development
Coram Voice is the UK leading provider of training in Children's Rights, Advocacy and Youth Participation. All frontline workers are required to undertake our ‘Being a Voice’ training, as well as training in Safeguarding and Equalities and Diversity. Our full training suite is available to all staff and freelance workers and we also provide the National Advocacy Qualification. We carry out an organisational Learning Needs Analysis annually, and all workers are invited to complete an Individual Learning Plan, where they prioritise their learning needs and identify how Coram Voice can help.
